The Time is Now

Over the last twenty years, the city of York, Pennsylvania has been preparing this site – designated a Qualified Opportunity Zone in an area known as the Northwest Triangle – for an enormous leap forward. The time has come for it to fully realize its purpose.

York has a rich history, serving as our nation’s first capital and the birthplace of the original York Plan. It has a robust manufacturing and defense ecosystem, anchor companies like BAE and Harley Davidson, and close access to Washington D.C. (2 hours) and New York City (3 hours). Now with the creation of the York Plan 2.0, York is the ideal location to showcase the resilience, grit, and “never say die” attitude of the American people.
